About

Follow my lead if you love animals big and small, furry, feathery or hairy, cute or scary! I will be posting up a list of companies that are against animal testing and contain no icky animal derivatives. There will be a list of vegan cosmetics, candles, cleaning products, healthcare and also a list of the major animal testing companies and their franchises that are marketed as cruelty free; so that you can avoid them.

“Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals and the answer is: ‘Because animals are like us.’

“Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: ‘Because the animals are not like us.’

“Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction.”

I would love to! And thank you for helping rabbits with your rabbit sanctuary. How close are you to Brisbane? I would love to come and visit and take some photos. Rabbits are illegal in QLD and I would just love to have some photos of interaction with them to further support anti animal testing :)

Hi Olivia, Is there anything that confirms that ingredients are not derived from palm tree oil from the Amazon, where Orangutan territories are being pillaged and destroyed?

      Hi Vroni,

After being informed by a woman who has 2 websites dedicated to the palm oil deforestation problem and the affect on orangutans I have added a question in the questionnaire I send to companies asking if their products contain palm oil and/or it’s derivatives. I am hesitant to post up a palm oil free icon in case I am misinformed as companies are often unaware of palm oil derivatives in their products. All companies have answered stating they use certified palm oil and some have provided copies of the paperwork too. 90% of the palm oil is in food and other products and 10% accounts for cosmetics so I am hoping the food industry starts receiving pressure to replace with other oils or source from ethical farms. If you would like a list of companies that have informed me they are palm oil free I can go through my information and provide them for you :)

Thanks for that information Olivia! It’s really refreshing to have your website to refer to. Thank you x

You are more than welcome Vroni! If you have any questions or suggestions don’t hesitate to contact me :) I will endeavour to put up a palm oil free icon in the near future so that you can purchase POF products if you prefer. Thanks for your support.
